This policy explains what VacationGuide collects when you browse, review and plan, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address, display name and sign-in provider. When you use the site we store the reviews you publish, the places you save, the trips you build and the messages you send to the AI concierge.
Why we use it
Account data lets you sign in and keeps your saved places and trips available across devices. Review content is published on the listing you reviewed. Concierge messages are kept so your conversation survives navigation, and are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't share your email address with the hotels, restaurants or rental owners listed on the site unless you contact them yourself.
How long we keep it
Account and review data is kept until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved places, trips and concierge history; published reviews are anonymised rather than removed so ratings stay accurate.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@vacationguide.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
