We protect travellers and businesses alike: fraud checks on payments, verified property owners, moderated forums and a straightforward process for reporting a problem.
Verified businesses
Before an owner can respond to reviews or edit a listing, we confirm they control the business: a check against Companies House or a licence where one applies, plus verification of the address and a contact at the property.
Safer payments
Payments run through our partners' checkouts, never over email or bank transfer. Anyone asking you to pay off-platform is a red flag — report it and don't send money.
Moderated forums
Every board has moderators, and posts containing scams, doxxing or abuse are removed. Repeat offenders lose posting rights, and serious cases are referred to Action Fraud or the police.
Reporting a problem
Use the report link on any listing, review or post, or email hello@vacationguide.co.uk. Urgent safety reports are triaged the same day; everything else within one working day.
